Mark 10:45
"For the son of man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
Hopefully we all are God's servants. How do we serve God? We serve him by helping others and by spreading the word of Jesus Christ.
Not a day goes by but someone enters into mylife who needs guidance and family blessings to listen to their problems.
And i usually get to pray for them. I feel the presence of the holy spirit working through me. What a blessed life I live. And I am blessed with kindness coming back to me.
Galatians 5:13
"You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love."
Jesus preached mostly about helping others who can not help themselves. Today we have the freedom to choose to help others; it is God's calling to us to be a selfless servant. We can not go through life without talking and interacting with another person. We need others in our life, and others need us in theirs. We must act out of love. Love is an action word, not a mere passing feeling. When one acts in love, one acts in kindness, patience, truth, hope, trust, and happiness. We should be so honored and humble to help another person. I have had the blessing of being helped, and it is the help and grace that got me through my tough times and that gives me faith in times to come.
So remember, we are called to be God's faithful servants.
Never stop praying, and hug those kids and family close to you.
